David Schallmo

Dave Schallmo, FIC is a Field Agent with The Abbate Agency.   I am your trusted advisor that provides personal and professional financial planning to Catholic families. My role with TAA allows our clients the ability to invest and insure with a company that holds their morals and values in attaining their financial goals as well as securing their futures.

Dave was born & raised in Silver Spring, Maryland and has lived in New York and Georgia.  Dave currently resides in North Chesterfield, Virginia.  Dave graduated from Paint Branch HS in Burtonsville, Maryland. He then earned his Bachelor of Science – Accounting degree from Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland.  During his time at Frostburg State, Dave earned four varsity letters as starting pitcher for the baseball team.

Dave’s career in the Knights of Columbus began in August 2020 and he is super excited about serving our Fredericksburg, Virginia area and moving the territory from a council-based platform to a parish-based platform. 

Dave is married to his wife of thirty years, Carolyn.   Dave and Carolyn are raising four daughters, Maggie, Jamie, Sophie, and Bridgette.  Carolyn is an independent artist and a children’s book illustrator.
